The 3rd International Workshop on Physics and Technology of Thin Films focuses on recent developments and advances related to thin films, in particular on the nanoscopic scale. The sessions cover theoretical, computational and experimental studies of thin films. IWTF3 is organized as a Satellite Conference of ECOSS26, and it is preceded by a two-day introductory Materials Master Class intended for advanced undergraduate and graduate students. The Materials Master Class is supported by The National Graduate School in Materials Physics and The Finnish National Graduate School in Nanoscience.
