NanoMaterials Group

The NanoMaterials Group, headed by Prof. Esko I. Kauppinen, is among the top aerosol technology laboratories in the world and offers a unique environment for strong interdisciplinary research and a proven track record of productive cooperation. The main research areas of the group are synthesis and mechanistic studies of formation of carbon nanotubes and nanoparticles (Doc. Albert G. Nasibulin), pharmaceutical materials (Dr. Janne Raula), electron microscopy (Dr. Hua Jiang), and computational fluid dynamics modelling. The staff includes 7 doctor level researchers and 9 PhD students.

UPDATE! The NMG group is hiring 3 PhD students on topics related to single-walled carbon nanotubes. See the job ad and apply!

MSc positions are also open related to Biological nanopartices (also special assignments and candidates) and Carbon nanotubes.
