Dipoli Congress Centre, the venue of 8th PET, is
located in the architecturally acclaimed Helsinki University of Technology
campus area. |
The local organisers' application for financial support from European
Commission to 8th PET Workshop has been approved.
A limited number of European Commission grants will be available to
eligible researchers who wish to participate in the Workshop. The grants
will cover up to 100% of travel, subsistence and participation costs for
researchers fulfilling either of the following criteria:
1) young researchers (up to 35 years of age at the time of the Workshop)
who are nationals of a EU Member State or Associated State, and active
inside a Member State or Associated State at the time of the Workshop
2) researchers (of any age) who are nationals of a EU Member State
or Associated State, and active outside EU Member States and Associated
States at the time of the Workshop.
At present, the Associated States are: Bulgaria, Republic of Cyprus,
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Liechtenstein,
Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
If you are attending 8th PET Workshop with EC support, please be prepared
to give the complete bank account information of your institute at the
registration desk. By default, EC support will be refunded to your institute
after the Workshop.
