The laboratory of Advanced Energy Systems is responsible for a wide
variety of courses. While the emphasis is on courses with quite highly
specialized topics, the selection includes also a few mandatory, basic
physics courses. In addition to lecture-type courses, we also offer three
laboratory courses and several seminar-type courses, both of which develop
skills directly relevant to ‘real life’: searching for information independently,
documentation skills, and presenting complicated issues in a comprehensive
manner.
The amount of work involved in a given study module is expressed in
study credit units (cr), the value of which is shown in parenthesis for
each study module. One cr signifies about 40 hours of effective work by
an average student, i.e. one week of full-time study.
L = lectures, C = coordination, R = recitations.
